Jabebo at Black Canyon of the Gunnison

Some friends of ours were visiting the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National park. The visitor center was closed but peered in the widow they spotted our earrings on display and sent us this photo. Apparently the VC does open for shortened hours letting in just a few people at a time. That is something because later in the day we received a small order for Black Canyon from WNPA. The Western National Park Association manages retail for a number of national park locations and we depend on them heavily For business with park locations. So far this is the fifth order we have received from this organization since the initial closure and all the orders have been small. Hopefully This means other locations are at least experimenting with opening and will be able to continue that trend. The new wave of the coronavirus hitting certain state raises the questions to what extent will places have to close again. Or will it become apparent that In regions where mask wearing is prevalent and gatherings minimized we can continue to move around in public. We are totally taking a trial and error approach to dealing with this thing.

So next week I start my trip to Utah for my nieces wedding. We were supposed to go back in April. My niece and her fiancé decided they did not want to put it off any longer than August. But for this revised trip it will just be me traveling solo. I will work my way out over 12 days camping and spending as much time in parks and refuges as possible. I will be as careful as i can not to become a vector for the virus. Stay tuned as i will be sure to post some observations as i transects our pandemic ravaged country. I’ll be visiting the Black Canyon too, I am so excited to finally make it there. Ill let you know if the VC Is open.

Hi Kelly! We have a bobcat, two different wolves, and two foxes available. First, write down their product numbers from the Mammals page. Then, go to our Etsy store and add this item to your cart. Finally, on the Etsy checkout page, add a note to your order including those product numbers so that we know which earrings you want. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us!
